Shipco series DS simplex condensate pump with 1-1/2" discharge, 1-1/2 hp 1 phase, 3450 rpm pump & motor, rated to 15,000 EDR, at 40 psi.22.5 gpm. This unit has a 21 gallon steel receiver with 2" inlet.
Shipco condensate pump units are designed to collect return condensate from the steam system and return it to the boiler in most cases via a boiler feed pump unit. As condensate flows by gravity or from other pumping units to this receiver tank, the receiver fills with water. The float switch assembly then rises and signals the motor on the pump to start and begin pumping the condensate until the float drops with the lower water level and breaks the contact on the switch to shut the pump off. Shipco condensate pumps are made in simplex (one pump) or duplex (two pumps). Duplex units are supplied with two float switches. Shipco's receivers are steel, the pumps are bronze fitted and run at 3450 RPM.
