Compare to TLV steam traps: With a free-floating ball, the Spence steam trap series NFT250 provides you with a TLV-like, but American made free-float thermostatic steam trap. Reduces steam trap maintenance costs involved with valve mechanism replacement: There is NO valve mechanism assembly attached to the steam trap float - The float simply moves up and down (free floating) within a perforated stainless steel strainer. Without the valve mechanism there should be less maintenance required on this TLV-like steam trap. Pipe sizes from 1/2" to 1-1/2". Steam operating pressures from 20 to 250 psig.
