Exergen Microscanner digital-infrared thermometer. Pocket size 3-1/2" x 5" x 5/8" thick with a temperature range of 10-550 degrees F.

This unit is an instantaneous reading thermometer because it uses infrared which travels at the speed of light rather than a probe type that must wait for the probe to absorb the temperature. At a distance it can be used to scan for hot spots and on the surface for instant accuracy of plus or minus 2 degrees F. Comes with lock switch and a two year warranty.
