Humble Beginnings
Joseph Lombardo, an Italian immigrant, founded State Supply in 1933. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and necessity, Joe saw a business opportunity to provide for his family during the Depression. He would source and deliver plumbing and heating repair parts to customers for a fee. State Supply not only survived during this period but continued to grow through the years – even with challenges along the way, including the disruption of WWII and a devasting fire that destroyed their first building in 1962.
