Overview
The Armstrong Pump Astro 2 290SS is a variable three-speed, single phase stainless steel circulator pump for residential heating and cooling with a 3/4"-1-1/2" flanged connection. Astro 2 pumps have a flow rate of up to 64 GPM, a maximum of 42 feet of head, ceramic bearings and shaft, and a Noryl impeller. An e-coating on the inside of cast-iron volutes provides enhanced corrosion protection for improved reliability. A high-flow check valve is pre-installed for convenience. However, when installation does not call for a check valve, it can be removed in seconds.
