Overview
Armstrong Pump model 2 x 1.5 x 5 Series 4270 motor-mounted centrifugal pump with a 3 HP, 208-230/460v, three phase, 3600 RPM motor. This pump features a radially-split volute, PEI resin impeller, self-lubricating mechanical seal, and a back pull-out design. Series 4270 pumps are cast iron with a stainless steel shafts. Their high-strength PEI resin impeller minimizes axial thrust. The heavy-duty motor ball bearings accommodate radial loads and residual hydraulic thrusts.
