Armstrong air vents employ a free-floating lever design to discharge non-condensable gases. This float-operated design allows the vents to instantly and automatically adjust to variations in gas flow and pressure, increasing system efficiency. Armstrong air vents can remove gas from liquids with gravities as low as 0.40 and pressures to 2,700 psi (186 bar). Armstrong air vents are available in a variety of sizes, end connections, and materials. Applications for Armstrong float-type air vents include hydronic heating systems, water service lines, water storage tanks, centrifugal pumps, gas lines, solvent filters, and similar equipment.
Armstrong drain separators separate condensate efficiently by using the centrifugal force of steam or air created by introducing it into a specifically shaped path. They feature a cyclone structure, no moving parts, and loss pressure loss.
Armstrong offers a full range of steam traps, including bucket steam traps, float and thermostatic (F&T) traps, and their repair parts. These traps efficiently move condensate, air, and CO2 out of steam systems. This operating efficiency means less fuel is burned, in turn reducing emissions and saving money. Armstrong ASME coded horizontal flash tanks are designed to provide low velocity flash steam with no water carryover. They are standard pressure rated to 150 psi and cover a wide range of applications and loads.
