Overview
AccuTrak number VPE ultrasonic inspection instrument kit for steam trap testing that includes a detector, waveguide attachments, standard ear headset, battery, owners manual, and padded carrying case. This instrument senses sound to a low frequency where the ear cannot hear, in turn detecting air or gas leaks. It also uses a probe to sense any turbulence in leaking valves, steam traps, or bad bearings. The detector has a bar graph to show intensity along with the headset. This detector is hand size 7" x 2" and weighs only 1/2 lb. and can pick-up the sound of an eye blinking. Operates on one 9-volt battery.
