Bell and Gossett suction diffusers are an angle-pattern, flow-straightening fitting that combines a diffuser/strainer, orifice cylinder, and full length straightening vanes to provide ideal flow conditions for the pump suction. Suction diffusers are available in sizes from 1-1/2'' to 10'' in NPT, flanged, and grooved connections. They are available in pressures up to 175 psi. These suction diffusers come standard in cast iron bodies with steel straightening vanes, orifice cylinders, and bronze strainers. Stainless steel straightening vanes and orifice cylinder are optional.

Bell and Gossett expansion tanks absorb the force of thermal expansion in hydronic heating and potable domestic water systems. The butyl diaphragm separates system water from the air in the tank thereby preventing water-logging problems. Series HFT tanks are for standard hot water heating systems while PT tanks are for potable domestic water systems, both have a maximum working pressure of 100 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 240°F. Series PT tanks use a polypropylene liner to protect the water from contaminants. Special ASME designated Series PT tanks can also be ordered.

The Bell and Gossett Brazed Plate (BPX) and Gasketed Plate (GPX) models come in a variety of sizes and capacities for optimum heat and thermal transfer. The B&G steam and water powered heat exchangers provide instantaneous heat transfer. The Bell & Gossett WU model is aided by a B&G booster which pumps boiler water through the shell of the transfer unit for efficient, high capacity heating solutions. Bell & Gossett air and dirt separators remove entrained air, dirt, and sediment from hot water heating systems, thereby providing efficient transfer of heat throughout the system. By removing entrained air within the water, you increase heat transfer, save energy, and have increased heating comfort.

Bell & Gossett offers various control valves, including Flo-Control valves, Hydrotrol flow control valves, Monflo fittings, and Comfort-Trol zone valves. All of these Bell Gossett valves work in their own unique way to control the flow of water in hot water heating systems. Zone control valves open and close to distribute hot water to different heating zones. Zone control valves are used for either continuous or intermittent cycling operation of the system pump. The valve design permits easy replacement of the seal gland without isolating the valve or draining the system.
