Overview
The Bell & Gossett 186361LF is a replacement 4-11/16"" bronze impeller for Series 1522 end suction pumps. This impeller repairs models 12T-1 and 12S-1. The impeller is a rotating component within the pump casing that transfers mechanical energy from the motor to the fluid being pumped. The main purpose of a pump impeller is to convert the rotational energy from the motor into kinetic energy in the fluid. As the impeller rotates, it creates a centrifugal force that pushes the fluid away from the center of rotation, causing it to move outward and thus create flow.
