Bell & Gossett P85521 bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" outside diameter (trimmable) for Series 80 in-line pumps, models 804TB, 805TB, 2x9-1/2B, and 2-1/2x9-1/2B with 1-1/4" shaft at seal. The impeller is a rotating component within the pump casing that transfers mechanical energy from the motor to the fluid being pumped. The main purpose of a pump impeller is to convert the rotational energy from the motor into kinetic energy in the fluid. As the impeller rotates, it creates a centrifugal force that pushes the fluid away from the center of rotation, causing it to move outward and thus create flow.
