Overview
The Bell & Gossett 1BN321LF model PT-42V is a diaphragm expansion tank for potable water systems. The tank volume is 20 gallons, and the acceptance volume is 11.4 gallons. The maximum design pressure is 100 psi (factory pre-charged pressure is 38 psi), and the maximum design temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The system connection size is 1" female threaded. The Series PT tank absorbs the forces of expanding water and protects the domestic water system from pressure buildup. The heavy-duty butyl diaphragm and polypropylene liner isolate the water from the shell. FDA approved.
