Overview
Bell & Gossett 5" steel body grooved sediment removal separator rated to 530 gpm, 125 psi, and 350°F. A full-flow separator for removal of both sediment and entrained air in hot water heating and chilled water applications, cooling towers and other processing equipment. Centrifugal force and velocity swirl the fluid around the chamber with the sediment falling to the bottom (which has a tapping for a blow-down valve) and the fluid continues out the lower side outlet. Air is released though the top which is tapped for an air vent such as the model 107A.
