Hoffman B2015S - 3/4" In-Line Horizontal Cast Iron Bucket Trap

The Hoffman Specialty inverted bucket steam trap, model B2015S, features a 3/4" trap connection in an in-line horizontal configuration and an internal strainer. This configuration allows steam to enter from one side of the trap, and the condensate to discharge from the opposite side of the trap. Inverted bucket traps are a simple leverage system that uses the weight of the bucket to open the valve against pressure. Inverted bucket traps have a high resistance to wear, corrosion, and hydronic shock. The B2015S is cast iron and has a 15 psi maximum operating pressure. This trap has a capacity for 2,620 pounds per hour. The traps are designed for service on heat exchange equipment where there is a need to vent air and non-condensable gases quickly. They are a good choice for their ability to purge air, handle dirt, performance under light loads and operate against back pressure. B2 series traps replace the older model 602 from Hoffman Specialty.
