Overview
Hoffman Specialty valve mechanism, without bucket, for 1/2" and 3/4" B1125A, B1125B, B1125S, and B1125T, 125 pound pressure, inverted bucket steam traps. A valve mechanism allows condensate and air to drain from the trap with a lever and seat operation that is held in place by screwing the seat into the outlet port within the trap. With the inverted bucket attached to this mechanism, the steam pressure within the bucket keeps the lever up, in turn keeping the seat closed when steam is present. When the steam cools and turns to condensate, the trap fills and causes the bucket to drop, opening the seat to allow condensate and air to drain.
