Overview
The 30VBFSB is a Hoffman Specialty boiler feed pump designed to collect return condensate from steam systems and return it to the boiler. Water levels are maintained by an electric solenoid water make-up valve with a reverse acting float switch. Hoffman Specialty boiler feed units have heavy-gauge steel receiver tanks with gauge glass assemblies and mechanical make up valves. The pump is a close-coupled, centrifugal pump with a bronze impeller, bronze wear ring and carbon ceramic mechanical seal. The 30VBFSB has a 3/4" connection and a 1/3 HP, 3450 RPM, 115v single phase motor. The 30VBFSB is a simplex unit, with a 30 gallon tank, capable of pumping 9 gallons per minute at 20 psi, 6,000 EDR and 30 BHP.
