Mepco (formerly known as Dunham-Bush) offers a variety of steam traps, including float and thermostatic (F&T) traps, radiator traps, and thermostatic industrial traps. Mepco steam traps provide dependable long-lasting, low-maintenance service. These traps efficiently move condensate, air, and CO2 out of steam systems. This operating efficiency means less fuel is burned, in turn reducing emissions and saving money. Mepco steam traps provide minimal steam loss, corrosion resistance, operation against back pressure, and little to no dirt problems.
Mepco (formerly known as Dunham-Bush) F&T traps can be used with all types of steam heating and process equipment. F&T traps operate efficiently up to pressures of 125 psi and have great air handling capabilities for HVAC and process applications. Air and non-condensable gases are discharged through the thermostatic element while condensate is discharged through a separate orifice that is connected to a ball float. The float modulates with the level of condensate inside the trap. Mepco F&T traps are manufactured in six pipe sizes: 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2". These traps can handle capacities up to 24,000 lbs. of condensate per hour. Their four-port design connections and piping dimensions that are similar to other major manufacturers allow maximum installation flexibility.
Mepco (formerly known as Dunham-Bush) inverted bucket traps operate efficiently up to pressures of 250 psi. They feature in-line inlet and outlet connections which permit straight-through piping connections, as well as, renewable and interchangeable valves and seats made of hardened stainless steel. Mepco's proven design provides positive opening action and easy access to working parts without disturbing piping connections. Mepco inverted bucket traps are available in pipe connection of 1/2" through 2-1/2".
Mepco (formerly known as Dunham-Bush) offers low and medium pressure thermostatic radiator traps for HVAC applications. These radiator traps are designed for pressures up to 25 psi and capacities to 700 EDR. Mepco radiator traps feature a cast brass body and cover, non-corrosive working parts, and thermostatic discs that have been tested beyond 10 million cycles. Mepco's integral seats are guaranteed for 25 years and have large seat openings to prevent clogging. Their exclusive thermostatic disc design assures uniform expansion over the entire operating range while stop shoulder construction of the disc permits individual calibration for correct operation and field interchangeability without field adjustment. Mepco radiator traps are available in six patterns and pipe sizes of 1/2", 3/4", and 1".
Mepco (formerly known as Dunham-Bush) offers high pressure thermostatic industrial traps in angle patterns and two pipe sizes: 3/4" and 1". Mepco thermostatic industrial traps are similar in construction to low pressure radiator traps although they feature a stainless steel valve and renewable seat to make them suited for high pressure service. Their stop shoulder disc allows ease of field replacement and their operating pressure ranges from 5 to 100 psi.
State Supply offers a large range of steam traps repair parts for Mepco (formerly Dunham-Bush) inverted bucket steam traps, float and thermostatic (F&T) traps, radiator traps, and thermostatic industrial traps. Examples of the types of repair parts offered include floats, buckets and mechanisms, covers, gaskets, cage units, valve mechanisms, head assemblies, thermostats, fittings, and more.
