Mepco Float & Thermostatic Traps

Mepco (formerly known as Dunham-Bush) F&T traps can be used with all types of steam heating and process equipment. F&T traps operate efficiently up to pressures of 125 psi and have great air handling capabilities for HVAC and process applications. Air and non-condensable gases are discharged through the thermostatic element while condensate is discharged through a separate orifice that is connected to a ball float. The float modulates with the level of condensate inside the trap. Mepco F&T traps are manufactured in six pipe sizes: 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2". These traps can handle capacities up to 24,000 lbs. of condensate per hour. Their four-port design connections and piping dimensions that are similar to other major manufacturers allow maximum installation flexibility.
