Overview
The Shipco EMH is an "Economical Make-up Horizontal" boiler feed pump designed to collect return condensate from steam systems and return it to the boiler. The horizontal mounting style allows for low inlet returns. Water levels are maintained by a mechanical make-up water valve with stainless steel float and rubber fitted sealing face. Shipco boiler feed units have 3/16" black steel receiver tanks with gauge glass assemblies. The pumps are bronze-fitted. The EMH has a 3/4" connection and a 1/3 HP, 3500 RPM, 115v single phase motor. The EMH is a duplex unit, with a 209 gallon tank, capable of pumping 15 gallons per minute at 20 psi and 100 BHP.
