Overview
The Shipco DMC is a "Durable Make-up Cast iron" receiver boiler feed pump designed to collect return condensate from steam systems and return it to the boiler. Water levels are maintained by an electric solenoid make-up water valve with a float switch. These Shipco boiler feed units have a cast iron receiver tank with a gauge glass assembly. The pumps are bronze-fitted. The DMC has a 1-1/2" connection and a 2 HP, 3500 RPM, 115v single phase motor. The DMC is a duplex unit, with a 125 gallon tank, capable of pumping 21 gallons per minute at 50 psi and 150 BHP.
