Overview
The Spirax-Sarco liquid drain trap, model FA-75, features a 3/4" trap connection in a same side configuration. This configuration allows steam to enter from the bottom of the trap and condensate to discharge from the top of the trap. Liquid drain traps are used on compressed air systems and other industrial applications which require the drainage of liquid. The valve position is controlled by a stainless steel float which rises to open the valve as liquid enters. The trap then discharges continuously in direct response to variations in liquid flow rate, assuring thorough drainage of the system. The FA-75 is cast iron and has a 75 psi maximum operating pressure.
