Spirax-Sarco air eliminators are for pressurized liquids in commercial applications for both hot and cold water service. These air eliminators provides automatic operation, releasing air that collects at high points and are available in pipe sizes from 1/2" to 1". Their maximum operating pressures range from 100 to 300 psi.

Spirax-Sarco flash tanks' design is free-draining which is essential in boiler blow down applications where efficient separation of the flash steam from the blow down is essential to prevent contamination of the boiler feed tank and/or heat transfer surfaces. Spirax-Sarco flash tanks are also well suited to condensate flash steam applications. They have a low separation velocity to produce drier steam. Flash steam, which is formed when a portion of the high pressure condensate discharged from a steam trap re-evaporates, is separated from the condensate and piped away from the top of the tank. The remaining condensate drains from the bottom of the vessel to a stream trap. The flash is usually added to the low-pressure steam system.
Spirax-Sarco steam separators are designed to gather small water droplets from steam and separate them from the pipe flow, in turn reducing wet steam, erosion and corrosion, and pipework and heating surface scaling while also maintaining heat transfer efficiency. Spirax-Sarco offers high efficiency steam strainers for better quality steam. These strainers are designed to remove solid particles from the steam supply, reduce levels of contamination, and maintain the quality of end product steam.
Spirax-Sarco vacuum breakers protect plant and process equipment against vacuum as well as allow condensate to drain effectively from pipework and storage vessels. The precision ground stainless steel valve within Spirax-Sarco vacuum breakers is held firmly on its seat during normal operating conditions ensuring a tight shut-off. During cooling, steam begins to condense resulting in a reduction of pressure. The valve remains on its upper seat until the pressure in the upper chamber falls below the air inlet pressure (usually atmospheric pressure). At the point of vacuum, the valve will instantly lift of its seat. The air is then drawn in throughout the upper chamber preventing a vacuum from being formed.
