Spirax-Sarco bimetallic thermostatic steam traps conserve energy by discharging sub-cooled condensate in those applications which utilize sensible heat. These traps are very robust and are able to withstand water hammer and corrosive condensate. These traps are available in 1/4"-4" sizes, have a maximum body pressure rating of 6090 psig, and a maximum operating pressure of 3045 psig.
Spirax-Sarco float and thermostatic (F&T) steam traps are available in a wide variety of sizes and pressure ranges. These F&T traps are composed of a valve mechanism assembly with seat, internal thermostatic air vent, and a stainless steel float. Spirax-Sarco F&T traps feature an H pattern piping style which has an inlet and an outlet connection on both sides of the trap, allowing for more piping-in choices. They are available in pipe sizes from 3/4" to 2" and steam operating pressures from 15 to 200 psi. F&T traps feature separate orifices for condensate and air, which provide continuous condensate drainage and air venting even under conditions of zero pressure. A level connects the ball float to the valve and seat. Once condensate reaches a certain level in the trap, the float rises, opening the orifice and draining condensate. A water seal formed by the condensate prevents live steam loss. Since the discharge valve is under water, it is not capable of venting air and non-condensables. When the accumulation of air and con-condensable gases causes a significant temperature drop, a thermostatic air vent in the top of the trap discharges them.
Spirax-Sarco offers inverted bucket steam traps in a variety of sizes and capacities. They feature robust steam trap operation and long-lasting operational efficiency. Spirax-Sarco inverted bucket traps are available in pipe sizes from 1/2'' to 2'', steam operating pressures from 15 to 250 psi, and in cast iron, cast steel, and stainless steel constructions.
Spirax-Sarco liquid drain traps for compressed air are available in pipe sizes from 1/4" to 1" and operating pressures from 30 to 150 psi. Liquid drain traps deploy the same lever mechanisms, valves, and seats as float and thermostatic (F&T) traps. These liquid drain traps are used to drain liquids from most gases, for example water from compressed air. The trap removes the water and prevents the escape of air.
Spirax-Sarco liquid expansion steams traps employs a liquid expansion device to discharge condensate at a predefined temperature, which can easily be adjusted on site to any temperature within the operating range. These traps are available in 1/2"-3/4" sizes, have a maximum body pressure rating of 300 psig, and a maximum operating pressure of 300 psig.

Spirax-Sarco radiator traps feature an internal thermostatic assembly which closes to prevent steam from leaving it point of use and opens once the steam has given up its heat and turned back into condensate water. Spirax-Sarco radiator traps boast a rugged stainless steel element that is self-adjusting over the entire operating pressure range. They are designed to be wide open when cold to provide a self-draining freeze-proof design with high air venting capabilities.
Spirax-Sarco thermodynamic steam traps are found on high pressure steam applications such as tracer lines and industrial process equipment. The single operating component within the thermodynamic steam trap is the disc. Thermodynamic traps feature an all stainless steel body and are rated from 3.5 to 600 psi. Spirax-Sarco thermodynamic traps are able to withstand superheat, water hammer, corrosive condensate, freezing, and vibration.
Spirax-Sarco clean steam thermostatic traps feature a sealed design that removes condensate from clean steam systems with minimal back up. They are suited for use in sterile steam barriers, process vessels, and CIP/SIP systems. These traps are self-draining and operate close to steam temperature.
