Overview
The Taco 2400-70/3-3P is a 2400 Series high-capacity cast iron circulator pump with a 1/2 hp, 3450 rpm, 115-volt, single-phase, open drip-proof motor—the pump mounts to the system-side pipes via 2-1/2" or 3" companion flanges. The maximum working pressure is 150 psi, and the maximum fluid temperature is 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Taco 2400 Series high-capacity circulators are designed for quiet, efficient, dependable operation in medium to high flow/head hydronic heating, chilled water cooling, and hot water recirculation applications. The space-saving, close-coupled, maintenance-free motor with permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life bearings, stainless steel shaft, Noryl impeller, and durable, carbon/silicon-carbide mechanical seal provide unmatched reliability.
