Overview
Trane thermostatic cage assembly with cover for 1/2" B1 radiator traps with a non-removable seat. Complete Trane steam traps, including all of their radiator traps, are no longer made. However, Trane contracts out the production of their related replacement components, such as cage assemblies, to fulfill the needs of the repair parts market. Cage assemblies contain a thermostatic element that opens to release air and water, and closes to keep steam in the heating unit. Installation instructions and a new steam trap cover come with each cage assembly.
